Lounge, Dining Room, Breakfast Room and five Characteristic Bedrooms
Before dinner you can enjoy the fireplace in our lounge, where drinks are served. The lounge is also an enjoyable place for conversations, playing bridge, watching television, and whatever you like to do after dinner.
The oldest part of the chậteau was built as a winehouse in 1668. From a height of ten metres, the grapes were dropped into the [manmade] caves below, where there were two wine presses. The first owner was Phiippe Barateau, a lawyer who defended convicted protestants by means of the Réligion Prétendue Réformée, and opened his house to them. A century later the middle part of the house was added. About 1850 the third part was built, which has noticeably more spacouis rooms and higher ceilings.
